Frequently Asked Questions
-
I started drawing caricatures in 2017 at Cedar Point as a summer job throughout college. I majored in lllustration at school and found that drawing caricatures daily was amazing drawing practice!

Use the contact page on my website to send me an inquiry. Please include the date, timeframe, and venue you have in mind for your event, along with any other questions you may have for me. I look forward to hearing from you!

When making a booking, we will decide on a timeframe for drawing. Within that timeframe at your event, guests can walk up freely to get their caricature drawn on the spot. A first-come first-serve basis generally works best. Guests can talk and move while I draw them; this helps me capture their whole personality. Within a few minutes, I will show them their finished drawing to take home with them! Meanwhile, people waiting for their turn get to watch the drawing come to life!

As many as you’d like, with a 2 hour minimum!

I average about 20 black and white faces per hour. This means each face I draw takes about 3 minutes!
-
There is no limit! My current record is 19 faces on one paper (it was a class photo). The more faces per paper, the smaller each face will be in order to squeeze everyone in. Each face will still take around 3 minutes to draw.
-
I draw my caricatures on 11x14” card stock paper. This is a convenient, standard frame size!

Yes! For an additional cost, I can draw my caricatures on ceramic ornaments or on corks (with little display cloches). I have also drawn on many other custom items provided by clients such as tote bags, ID badges, and others. I’m game to try drawing my caricatures on anything your imagination can come up with!

When I draw a caricature, my goal is to draw a face that is uniquely yours while making you look your best. There is a wide range of caricature styles, from brutally exaggerated to cutesy cookie-cutter. I’d say my style falls a little more on the cute end of the spectrum, but I’m always happy to step up the exaggeration for anyone who requests a little roasting! My aim is to give you a drawing you’ll love to keep, never to hurt anyone’s feelings.

It’s a very simple setup! Usually I ask that the client or venue provides me 2-3 chairs, then I will bring a stand-up artist easel and my drawing board.
